About
In just a few short years, Pittsburgh rock band Wearing the Inside Out has gone from a garage band to headlining shows at some of the best venues in the region, filming professional music videos and producing two well-reviewed EPs, “It’s Okay, We’re on Tour” and "Part One." In addition to headlining premiere rock clubs like the Altar Bar, Mr. Smalls, the Rex Theater, the Smiling Moose and the Club at Stage AE, the band has opened for national touring acts such as Hurt, Cavo, Windsor Drive, and Carter Hulsey and had their song, “You” featured at PNC Park during a Pittsburgh Pirates game. With driving guitars, killer drums and powerful bass lines, WIO still manages to have ambient piano and spot-on vocals. Their sound has been compared to 30 Seconds to Mars, Alter Bridge and Saosin. The band consists of Luke Gray (Vocals/Keyboards), Dylan Evans (Guitar), David Weigand (Guitar), Nick Williams (Bass) and Race Dauer (Drums/Vocals). The bands’ aggressive live shows are why both fans and critics alike consider them “one of the best bands in Pittsburgh.” Wearing the Inside Out is currently prepping a summer tour and recording their second studio album which features a harder rock edge than the band's previous material.
